Aventon has made e-bikes since 2018, its current bikes are certified to UL 2849 or TUV standards, and its warranty covers the frame, motor, electrical system and battery for two years, with a lifetime frame warranty when you register within 90 days. We sell, rent and service Aventon in Whitefish, Montana, and we rent them for Going-to-the-Sun Road and Whitefish rides.

Who Aventon Is
Aventon launched its first bike, the fixed-gear Mataró, in 2013, and its first e-bike, the original Pace 500, in 2018. The Level commuter and Sinch folding bike followed in 2020, the Aventure fat-tire bike in 2021, the Ramblas mid-drive mountain bike in 2024, smart security and tracking features in 2025, and the Current full-suspension mountain bike in 2026. The company is based in California and sells through its own site and through dealers like us.
Safety Certification
Every current Aventon e-bike on the company’s safety page is certified to UL 2849 for the complete electrical system or to TUV standards, and many batteries are listed as certified to UL 2271.
The Warranty
For bikes bought on or after January 1, 2026, Aventon’s limited warranty covers the frame, the motor and drivetrain parts, the electrical system, the wheels and the battery for two years from purchase. The battery is covered for two years or 300 charge cycles, whichever comes first. Register the bike within 90 days and the frame warranty becomes lifetime for the original owner. Other parts carry one year. Labor is not covered, which is where a local dealer matters: we handle warranty claims and repairs for every Aventon, wherever you bought it.
